Lower Stein Valley Trail (from Stein Valley Trailhead To Ponderosa Creek) Return

A solo mission into the Lower Stein for 2 nights. My first time anywhere near the Stein, and I enjoyed the experience. Friday night was quiet and Sat night much busier as you'd expect on a long weekend. Camped at Teepee both nights. It is a nice site but would be handy to be a bit further into the valley for exploring purposes.
the petroglyphs were very cool to check out and were a highlight for me. The river was very fast moving and deafening at times on the trail.
I saw a juvenile bear and another group did too. No incident but there was scat and tree scratches so they're definitely active right now.
The easy grade of this trail was a nice change of pace for me. Recommended, was very pretty overall in the Valley. The little ferry is fun too.
