About me:
I've been hiking seriously since about 2002, at which time I formed Wanderung.ca with my friend Judd.

By nature, I'm a peak bagger. I find that the act of working through a guide book, cover to cover, forces me to put my biases aside, and opens me up to be pleasantly surprised by areas I've never heard of, and explore an area thoroughly. In 2007 I completed Dawn Hanna's "Best hikes in SW BC" and am currently hiking "103 hikes 5th Edition" (about 50% through and on pace for a 2011 completion)

Aside from local hiking, the following areas are on my hitlist:
Zion/Bryce Canyon NP, Yosemite NP, Yoho NP, Strathcona, and the Queen Charlottes.
